What is Chaldean numerology?

Chaldean numerology is the oldest known numerology system — carried down from ancient Babylonia over 4,000 years ago by the Chaldean mystics. Each letter is assigned a number based on its vibrational quality, not its alphabetical position.

Unlike modern Pythagorean numerology (which maps A–I to 1–9 in simple order), Chaldean uses only the numbers 1–8, treats 9 as sacred, and preserves the master numbers 11, 22, and 33. The result is a reading that many find markedly more intimate and precise.
